Sheriff wants 911 calls taken at courthouse

Sheriff Randy Houser met with the Richardson County Commissioners on Tuesday, July 2, seeking information about the relocation of the 911 answering point from the City of Falls City to Richardson County.

Commissioner Jim Davidson said that he is not comfortable with taking this away from the City because of increased liability for the county and the fact that the sheriff’s position can change every four years.
