Jeanette Gentert, 61, of Minden, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Kearney County Health Care Center in Minden. Private services will be held at a later date in Rulo. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Jeanette Marie Gentert was born Feb. 12, 1952, in Hastings, the daughter of Harold and Roselie (Richey) Gentert. Growing up, she lived in the Hastings and Harvard areas until moving to the Beatrice State Home at the age of 8. During her 20’s she moved back to Hastings. Later she moved to Superior, where she had her own apartment. After a fall she was a resident of the nursing home in Campbell and most recently in Minden.
She did contract work through MidNebraska, putting together components. While in Superior, she attended Sunday school at the Baptist Church.
Jeanette is survived by a brother, Don (Michelle) Gentert, Hastings; sisters, Judy (Karl) Ditzenberger, Jacksonville, FL, and Sharon Conklin, Hastings; nephews and nieces, aunts, including Paula Richey of Falls City, cousins and guardians.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dean Haskin and Charles Haskin, and a sister, Roseanna Pritts.
