Mary Ann Ankrom, 81, of Atlanta, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Atlanta. She was born July 2, 1931, at Council Bluffs, IA, to the late John and Dorothy (Thomason) McDaniel.
On Oct. 28, 1956 she married Roger G. Ankrom at Lincoln. He passed away Sept. 16, 1990.
Mary Ann was raised in Council Bluffs and had lived in the Atlanta area for the past 42 years. She had worked as a dental hygienist.
She’s survived by a sister, Kathy McChesney, of California
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Harris Cemetery at Barada.
No viewing or visitation. Dorr & Clark Funeral Home, of Falls City, is in charge of arrangments.
