Jeremy Kaster, a suspect in several area burglaries, was arrested on a Richardson County felony arrest warrant on Thursday, May 16 by the Kansas City, MO, Police Department. The warrant was issued for a burglary that Kaster is believed to have committed.
Kaster, 29 and originally from Tecumseh, appeared in Richardson County Court Wednesday, May 22 and was charged with Class III felony burglary. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 5. He is currently being held in the Richardson County Jail on a bond of $25,000.
It is believed Kaster has been in the Falls City area for some time now. He was transported back to Richardson County on Saturday, May 18 by Sheriff Randy Houser.
A young Falls City man will be formally acknowledged for his heroic act next Thursday evening, May 2, in Lincoln during the 12th Annual “Tribute to Heroes Awards Dinner” sponsored by the Nebraska/Southwest Iowa Region of the American Red Cross.
