Lucretia M. Meinheit, 89, of East China Twp., died May 10, 2013. She was born Dec. 4, 1923 in Falls City to the late Dennis and Neva Nixon. On May 18, 1946 she married James Meinheit in Hiawatha, KS.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years, James Meinheit; son, James (Connie) Meinheit; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Nellie Schuler; and brother, Mark Nixon.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deann Sue Umlauf.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
