Patricia Ann (Patsy) Grimes, 79, died Sunday, March 24, 2013.
She was born April 14, 1933, in Brown County, KS, the daughter of Walter S. and Juanita K. (Narbett) Grimes.
Patsy attended rural schools in Brown County prior to moving to Falls City with her family in 1950. She attended public school in Falls City and the School for Exceptional Children before it closed in the mid-1950s.
Survivors include a sister, Peggy (Ed) Skerko, Kansas City, MO, a sister-in-law, Donna Grimes, Topeka, KS, five nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parent, two brothers, Jim, Topeka, and Harold and his wife, Phyllis, Hiawatha.
A private inurnment will be at a later date in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. David Borg for his many years of compassionate care and acknowledges the staffs of Eastview and Careage Estates for their professional care and kindness show to Patsy during the past 25 years.
