Wayne G. Wolf, 76, of Lincoln, passed away on January 7, 2023. He was born on May 18, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to Gilbert H. and Roselyn M. (Kaiser) Wolf. He worked as a Science and Math Teacher at Duncanville High School in Texas. Wayne was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Family members include his wife Donna, of Lincoln; daughters Amanda (Bruce) Ward, of Orlando, FL, and Katie Rose Wolf of Ballwin, MO; step-children Melinda (Lowell) Keedy, of Lincoln, Todd Martin, of Lincoln, and Cynthia (Bobb) Caverzagie, of St. Paul, MN; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Vicki) Wolf, of Rocky Mount, NC; sisters Joyce (David) Richard, of St. Louis, MO and Sue (Gary) Winter, of Ballwin, MO.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Fred Wolf.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12th at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 S 33rd St., Lincoln, NE 68510.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11 with family greeting friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE 68510.
