Nancy Vogt, 63, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 1, 2021 at Falls City. She was born November 25, 1957 at Falls City to Walter and Donna Jo (Goolsby) Vogt.
Nancy was raised in Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1976. She worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman until 1989 and then worked full time on Senator Bob Kerry’s election campaign. She earned a degree from Per State College while working for attorney Bill Yoesel. After graduation she was a caseworker for the Nebraska Department of Corrections in Tecumseh.
She wrote about and documented with pictures her years of service with the railroad and was compiling a book. She was a master of all crafts and enjoyed recreating old world techniques.
Nancy is survived by her brothers, John of Eureka, KS, Bill “B. J.” of Concord, CA and Jerry Vogt of Lincoln, NE and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Young Je Kim officiating.
