Charles Rider

Charles Rider, 69, of Falls City, NE, passed away May 29, 2020, in Falls City. He was born March 10, 1951, at Falls City to George and LeVera (Schneidewind) Rider.
Charles was raised in Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1969. He graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln as a chemical engineer and then returned to Falls City to help his father and his brother Larry farm. He then worked for the city of Falls City, holding various positions of employment with them. He retired due to his health issues. He also taught bowhunter education.
Charles is survived by his brother, Glenn of Falls City, half-sister, Wylene Picton of Falls City, nieces and nephews, Anne Brittell of Falls City, Brian Rider of Smithville, MO, Kenny and Jennifer Rider both of Falls City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Young Je Kim officiating. Interment will be in Verdon Cemetery.

A viewing will begin Sunday afternoon until 5:00 PM and on Monday until 8: PM.
