The members of Offutt Brass, part of the USAF Heartland of America Band based at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, bring many years of professional experience with symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, jazz ensembles, touring shows, and today’s popular artists. Representing more than 325,000 Air Force professionals, Offutt Brass showcases the service’s excellence and precision in every performance.
Comprised of five brass players and a percussionist, the ensemble presents a diverse repertoire featuring classical music, patriotic favorites, jazz standards, new compositions and arrangements.
The group’s mission is to cultivate positive relationships in the state of Nebraska, Air Combat Command and the U.S. Air Force through music, creating a shared experience between the musicians on stage and the listeners in the audience.
In addition to engaging community concerts, Offutt Brass provides music and fanfares for military ceremonies, important civic events, and conducts educational clinics throughout the state. The musicians are full-time Active Duty members of the Air Force and hold college degrees in music. Offutt Brass is completely capable of deployment overseas.
