Falls City High finished fourth last Wednesday at the Raider Invitational in Wymore. The Tigers combined for a team score of 186, which was three strokes better than fifth place Lincoln Lutheran. Johnson County Central was third with a 177 and runners-up Syracuse (171) finished six strokes behind tournament champs, Milford (165).
FC junior Brody Weinmann led the Tigers with a round of 42, which was good enough for sixth place. He was the lone medalist for FC. Preston Deckinger carded a 46, while Bailey Bindle shot 47 and Aaron Kurpgeweith, 51, to round out the Tiger’s team scoring.
Syracuse’s Harrison Agena fired an even par 35 to win the event by four over runner-up Zac Morley of Milford.
FC’s golfers will hold Parent’s Night this evening at Jug Brown Stadium as part of the FC Invitational track meet. Wednesday the Tigers are at Woodland Hills for the Palmyra Invite.
