A group of alumni and friends met at the Senior Center recently to mail out 3,840 invitations to Falls City High School alumni for the annual Alumni Association banquet at Prichard Auditorium on Sunday, June 22.
Besides dues applications, the letters included an insert with the listing of Alumni Association scholarships. Although less than 8 percent (approximately 300) of the alumni receiving the letters come to attend the banquet, a spokesman noted, many send the association dues and a number generally reply with a donation to one or more of the scholarships.
Assisting with stuffing of the letters and the mailing were: Faye Dappen, Dobey and Butch Haws, Darrel Huettner, Dennis Heinzelman, Mike Castle, Marj Cramer, Bob and Lee Ferguson, Colleen Morehead, Zola Felts, Mildred Kottich, Maggie Behrends and Snook Hayes.
