Keith Miller, 94, of Hiawatha, KS (formerly of Falls City), passed away May 13, 2013 at Hiawatha. He was born Aug. 2, 1918 at Liberty, NE to the late Francis and Myrle (Doty) Miller.
On Nov. 15, 1949 he married Bonnie L. Shoup at Hebron. She passed away March 9, 2013.
Keith was raised at Liberty and graduated from Summerfield (KS) High School in 1936. He attended Kansas State University from 1937 to 1938 and Peru State Teacher’s College from 1938-1939. Keith started farming in 1939 in the Liberty area. The couple established their home in the Liberty area when married. They purchased a farm in 1963 in the Hamlin, KS area until moving into Falls City in 1985. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Falls City
Keith is survived by his sons, Wesley (Sue), of Hiawatha, and Doyle (Dawna), of Richmond, VA; daughter, Sondra (Roger) Bales, of Tucson, AZ; sister, Linna Mort of Pawnee City; five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Miller was been cremated and a private family graveside service will be held at Mission Creek Cemetery, southwest of Pawnee City.
Dorr & Clark Funeral Home, of Falls City, is in charge of arrangements.
