Connie Eichelberger, 70, of Hiawatha, KS, passed away June 3, 2025 at Hiawatha. She was born January 20, 1955 at Falls City to Dean and Ester (Schulenberg) Feighner.
Connie was raised in Rulo and attended Falls City public schools and graduated from Falls City High School. She worked at the Egg plant in Hiawatha, White Cloud Casino & was a cook at various restaurants. She retired in 2000 due to her health.
Connie is survived by her special friend of 20 years, Alvina Mendez of Hiawatha, step-children, Jojeana Mendez and her friend Josh Jones, Angela Jo Aborn and her husband Wes, Joseph Tyler Mendez, God-daughter, Shawna Miller and her husband Dan and their children, Gracie and Tarren Miller all of Hiawatha, sisters, Rita Adams and her husband Roy of Lincoln, NE, Betty Kuker and her husband Jerry of Falls City, dog, Grater and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Molly Feighner, sisters, Luella Harris and Barbara Stice, brothers, Tom, Herbert, Virgil, Ronald and Robert Feighner.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Cremation will follow with inurnment in Rulo Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
