Loyal “Turk” Kennel, 45, of Falls City, NE, passed away October 3, 2021 at St. Joseph, MO. He was born June 23, 1976 at Fairfax, MO to Loyal and Joanie (Jones) Kennel.
He married Kelli Rue in 2002.
Turk was raised in the Craig and Fairfax, MO area and graduated from Craig High School in 1994. Following graduation he worked in Forest City, MO, becoming employed at Fast Global Solutions in 2000. He was a lead man on the night shift working until his health failed in October of 2020. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on Dalton’s old chevy, fishing and camping. He was a member of Church of Christ at Falls City.
Turk is survived by his wife, Kelli of Falls City, children, Alexis Alverson and her husband Michael of Tulsa, OK, Dalton, Gracelynn and Wyatt all of Falls City, mother, Joanie Montgomery of Joplin, MO, brother, Chester and his wife Heather of Spring Hill, MO, sister, Jessica Stoner and her husband John of Craig, MO, brother-in-law, Paul Rue and his wife Sara of Falls City and a grandson, Emmett.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Wayne Shafer officiating. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
