Delmar E. Scholl, 91, of Falls City, NE, passed away April 25, 2021 at Falls City. He was born November 25, 1929 in rural Barada, NE to Fred and Matilda (Freie) Scholl.
He married Rosalie Finck on June 20, 1953 at Falls City, NE.
Delmar served in the Nebraska National Guard, Company B, headquartered in Falls City for 15 years.
Delmar moved into Falls City with his parents as a small child and graduated Falls City High School in 1949. He was employed at Simanton and Pence Greenhouse from 1942 until 1969 when he became employed at Safeway Grocery Store. When Safeway closed in 1982 he was an assistant manager. He then worked for Jack and Jill as a produce manager, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed woodworking, making crafts, gardening and bake. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Delmar is survived by his wife, Rosalie of Falls City, son, Dennis and his wife Linda of Monett, MO, Debbie Scholl of Falls City, grandchildren, Justin Scholl of Springfield, MO, Leslie Smith of Ozark, MO and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leon and Eugene.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Stoley as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be recited 1 hour prior to service time at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church
