The Rulo Bridge is now open after months of being closed due to spring flooding.
The Missouri Department of Transportation said there is still construction to be done on some sections including, Route 111 near Fortescue and parts of U.S. Route 159 east of Route 111 at Big Lake so these sections will remain closed.
According to Jenna Keyes, of MODOT, there is a detour in place to direct traffic from Rulo on US Route 159, north on Route 111 to Route 118 which will take traffic east to connect with I-29 at Mound City.
