Doris Fiegener

Doris Fiegener, 91, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 29, 2019, at Falls City. She was born July 18, 1928, at Burchard, NE to Lawrence and Anna (Ullman) Fisher.
She married Raymond Fiegener on December 30, 1952, at Steinauer, NE. He passed away on August 4, 2015.
Doris attended District 12 Cold Point School west of Pawnee City. When married, the couple established their home on a farm south of Dawson where she was a homemaker and farm wife. They moved into Dawson in 1994, wintering in Texas from 1990 until 2010. She moved into Falls City following the death of her husband in 2015. She was an Election Poll worker for the Dawson Precinct for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Society at Dawson.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Theresa Bryan of Dawson, Cecilia Dunn and her husband Seth of Falls City, Anna Fiegener of Falls City, sons, James of Dawson, Charles and his wife Colleen of Dawson, Thomas and his wife Kelly of Lee’s Summit, MO, Francis and his wife Julie of Dawson, sister, Wilma Cumro of Summerfield, KS, thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Virgil, Bob, Kenny, and Marion Fisher and sisters, Gerry Kohel and Mary Wichman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Hoesing as the presiding priest. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends afterward at the fellowship hall.
