Nebraska Elks to donate $75,000

Elks from all over Nebraska were in Kearney on August 21 for their 107th annual conference.
Nineteen lodges were represented when the group met. A major topic of discussion was the organization’s involvement in the disaster relief program. The program has given $65,000 to people in Kearney, Wood River, and Gibbon.
The organization still has $10,000 of the $75,000 in disaster fund made up of money from the Elks National Organization and the Nebraska Elks. To find an application form, you can go to www.nebraskaelks.org.
