Downtown ups its style game with addition of Miava Boutique

By Amber Holle

Women of Falls City did a little happy dance on September 12, when the doors opened to the new stylish clothing store, Miava Boutique.  Traci Weber-Lutt operates a successful boutique in Omaha and was looking for an area to open a second location.  She turned to her roots and thought Falls City would be the perfect place for her new addition!

Falls City Chamber of Commerce and Main Street hosted a ribbon cutting during Miava Boutique’s grand opening on September 19th.

Chamber board member and owner of Gatherings Market, Sarah Ahern notes, “We are so excited to have Miava added to our amazing stores on Stone Street.  The increasing number of boutiques and home décor stores is really making Falls City a shopping destination for out of town visitors!”

Miava Boutique, named after Traci’s daughters Mia and Ava, specializes in trendy women’s clothing & accessories at affordable prices.

Located at 109 E. 16th, Miava is full of chunky sweaters, cozy flannels and gorgeous tops in all your favorite fall colors.  With new items arriving weekly, this will quickly become one of your favorite spots downtown!

Be sure to stop in browse Miava’s vast selection and give them a big Falls City welcome.  You’ll also want to mark your calendars for the Chamber’s upcoming promotion, Sunday Fun Day in Falls City, on October 14th.  Over 10 stores will be participating in the special store hours, including Miava Boutique!
