Lena Lee Johnson, age 76 of Falls City, formerly of Lincoln, passed away July 12, 2018, at Community Medical Center in Falls City, NE.
Lena Lee was born August 20, 1941, at home in Rulo. She was the sixth of six daughters born to Anthony and Geneva (Palmer) Dannecker. Lena Lee grew up in the Rulo, and Reserve, KS area and graduated from Reserve High School. Lena Lee married Donald Johnson on May 10, 1966. They spent their married life in Lincoln where she worked as a radiology aid at St Elizabeth’s and several other places in Lincoln until retirement. She then moved to Falls City in July 2014 and lived at Falls City Health Care Community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don, and sisters Mary Elizabeth, Mildred, Patsy, Alice, and Susan.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and good friends, especially Penny Coonce.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Butherus Maser and Love funeral home, 4040 A St, Lincoln.
Burial was at Lincoln Memorial Park.
Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to St Teresa Parish.
