Mary K. Huppert, 67, of Falls City, passed away December 19, 2017 at Falls City. She was born October 12, 1950 at Kansas City, MO to Thomas and Mildred (Froeschl) Sullivan.
Mary K. was raised at Falls City and graduated Sacred Heart High School in 1968. She then graduated St. Mary’s College of Nursing at Kansas City with and LPN.
She married Jerry Huppert on September 26, 1970 at Rulo, NE and they were later divorced.
She returned to Falls City and worked at Community Medical Center for three years. She worked at Falls City Care Center/Health Care Community for twenty years and then for Dr. Tramp for eight years. She retired in 2015 due to her health. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Falls City Housing Authority Board.
Mary K. is survived by her significant other, Raymond Eickhoff of Falls City, children, Ann Mason and her husband Jarred of Stella, NE, Nancy Meyer and her husband Paul of Auburn, NE, Mike Huppert and his significant other Myriah Gerdes of Falls City, Megan Huppert of Falls City, Brian Huppert and his wife Ashley of Lincoln, NE, brothers, Terry Sullivan and his wife Nancy of Jacksonville, FL, Bob Sullivan and his wife Jomary of Scottsdale, AZ, sister, Marcia Sullivan of Lincoln, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, Raymond’s children, Travis Eickhoff of Lincoln and Robert Eickhoff of Shubert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Tom Sullivan, sister, Jean Simonson and her twin brother, David in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dunavan as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be recited on Friday at 6:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the rosary.
