DIANA WENDTLANDT

Diana L. Wendtlandt, 67, of Falls City passed away Dec. 4, 2016.  She was born Jan. 23, 1949 at Falls City to the late Leonard and Lucille (Aue) Shefferd.
Diana grew up in the Stella, area and attended school there up to the sixth grade then moved to Falls City and attended school there; later receiving her GED. She worked at Aztec Woodcraft, Southside Bar, Hotel Stephenson, Oasis Restaurant, bartended at various bars, and was also a Nurses Aid at Falls City Health Care Community. Diana married Ronald Dishong Sept. 7, 1966 at Falls City. He later passed away on Aug. 29, 1996. She then married Henry Wendtlandt, Sr. on Sept. 6, 2001. She was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Wendtlandt, Sr., of Falls City; daughter: Sherry (Paul) Baumgartner, of Falls City; son- Michael (Ramona) Dishong, of Falls City; step-son, Henry (Angie) Wendtlandt, Jr., of Falls City; brothers, Gary (Karen) Shefferd, of Hiawatha, Ronald Sheffered, Falls City, Dennis (Pam) Shefferd, of House Springs, MO, Richard (Barb) Shefferd, of Hiawatha, David (Debbie) Shefferd, of Fairview, KS; sisters, Patricia (Ronald) Karst, of Salem, Judy Bradley, and Sue (Marvin) Buckminster, all of Falls City; grandchildren, Derik (Maggie) Wisdom, Jared (Michelle) Dishong, Kyle Dishong, Alicia Holstein, Joshua Fritz; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Moore officiating. Interment will be at Steele Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00–8:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
