Voter registration through Oct. 28

Early Voting in person for the Nov. 8, 2016 Presidential General Election is now available at the office of the Richardson County Clerk, Room 203, Courthouse, in Falls City.   
Anyone who is unable to go to their regular polling place for any reason can request an “Early Voting Ballot.” These ballots can be mailed to voters upon the receipt of an application or a written request signed by the voter or their agent and delivered to the County Clerk. Ballots can also be picked up in person and voted at the Clerk’s office through Nov. 7 during regular business hours.  
An application form for “Early Voting Ballots” is available on the Richardson County website www.co.richardson.ne.us home page.
The deadline for those persons who would like to vote in the Nov. 8 General Election and who have not previously registered to vote in Richardson County is Friday, Oct. 28. Register at the County Clerk’s office during regular business hours, and on Friday, Oct. 28, the office will remain open until 6 p.m.   
Registrations will also be accepted at the Humboldt City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours through Friday, Oct. 21. Voters can also register at http://ne.gov/go/NEreg2vote
 The deadline for any voter registration form other than in person is Oct. 21.

Address changes and name changes due to marriage are encouraged to be changed before Nov. 8, however, these changes can be made at the polls on Election Day by voting a “Provisional Ballot.”
