ROLAND ‘BOB’ GRAVES

   Roland “Bobo” Graves, 66, of Salem, NE, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016.
   A graveside service was held on Friday, Aug. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Maple Cemetery in Salem, with the Rev. Fay Ann Blaylock officiating.  The family received friends on Thursday from 7-8 p.m. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
   Roland was born to Ruth (Peck) Graves and the late Joe Graves on Nov. 24, 1949, at Falls City.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army on Sept. 18, 1969, and was discharged on Dec. 21, 1970.
   He married Jackie Volz in 1969, at Oregon, MO, and they were later divorced.  Then he married Charlotte Windle in 1979 and they later divorced, and then he married Bonnie Porter on July 23, 1994, at Falls City and she later passed away on May 30, 2005.
   Roland was raised at Salem and attended Salem High School.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army and when he was discharged he worked as an auto mechanic; then was a welder for BNSF Railroad.  He retired in 2011 due to his health.  He was a member of the Falls City American Legion Post #102.
   Roland is survived by special friend Shannon Roberts of Salem; daughter, Terri Jo Clary and her husband Danny of Falls City, Christi Chesnut and her husband Tim of Falls City, and Anna DeBolt-Graves of Falls City; sons, Buddy Graves of Falls City and James Graves of Lincoln, NE; step-sons, Shae Christensen of Pawnee City, NE, and Jason Koch and his wife Angie of Fayetteville, AR; mother, Ruth Graves; sisters, Nancy Chandler and her husband Mike of Salem, Patricia Rieschick, and special friend Mike Harson of Falls City, Beverly Chesnut and her husband Larry of Falls City, and Barbara Brown and her husband Tony of Salem; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   He was proceeded in death by his father; wife and brother-in-law, Dennis Rieschick.
   The family has requested memorials to be made to the Richardson County Cancer Fund.
