Norman F. Miller, 71, passed away July 10, 2016 at Ohiowa, NE. He was born August 5, 1944 at Humboldt, to the late Cecil and Helen (Schuler) Miller.
Norman was raised in Richardson County, Angus, NE and attended Dawson High School. Following high school he worked as a farm hand until being drafted into the U.S. Army on September 12, 1964. Following his discharge on September 22, 1967 he worked for Stella Soil Service and then became a truck driver for 35 years for construction crews. He married Patricia Rowland on March 13, 1993 at Salem. He retired in 2008 due to his health. He was a member of the Ohiowa American Legion # 193.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Miller of Ohiowa; brother; Dave (Barb) Miller of Grand Island; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Evelyn Hoak and Dorothy Miller Ballue.
A graveside service will be held on, Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Maple Cemetery with Pastor James Sells officiating. Graveside military honors by Ohiowa American Legion #193.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
