DOUGLAS RAMER

Douglas Lee Ramer, 55, of Crete, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on Feb. 5, 1961 to Earl and Mary (McKee) Ramer at Falls City.

Doug grew up in Falls City and graduated from FC High in 1979. After graduation he worked construction for one year and then joined the National Guard in Fort Benning, GA. After coming home, he worked at Missouri Beef Packers for three years and then Farmland until his death. Doug enjoyed the outdoors: Camping, fishing, hunting and trapping. He also loved being around his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi; daughter, Morgan, of Aurora, CO; son, Damon, of the home; sister, Pam (Randy) Wittwer, of Falls City; brothers, David (Kathy) Ramer, of Dorchester, NE, and Todd (Sheri) Lampe, of Lincoln; sister, Cindy (Kirk) Ripa, of Wilber; and many nieces and nephews.    

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Everett and Lola Ramer, and Lawrence and Irene McKee.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Wilbur. Memorials may be sent to www.WorldWildlife.org or family choice.
