MELVIN ZENTNER

Melvin Zentner, 75, of Rulo, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Rulo. He was born on May 31, 1940 at Falls City to Margaret (Sailors) Zentner and the late Herbert Zentner.

Melvin was raised north of Falls City and graduated from Shubert High School in 1957. He then took employment at Harmon’s OK Tire shop. On Melvin married Jane Smith on June 5, 1960 in Falls City. In 1966, he began working for Kenneth Hunzeker and worked for hum until the time of his passing.

He attended Trinity Methodist Church in Rulo.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Jane Zentner, of Rulo; son, Les Zentner (and his girlfriend, Stephanie Farley), of Falls City; mother, Margaret Zentner, of Falls City; and sister, Madalyn (Elden) Vonderschmidt, of Falls City.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, Falls City, with Rev. John Hogue officiating. Interment at Steele Cemetery. Open visitation began Sunday at the funeral home.
