SALLY M. MILLER

Sally M. Miller, 75 of Atkinson, formerly of Topeka, KS, and Falls City, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at her home. She was born July 8, 1940 at Sabetha, KS, to Alfred and Nila (Kling) Ralston.  

Sally grew up on a farm in the Sabetha area and spent most of her younger years playing outside with the farm animals and her dog,” Jack”. She graduated from Sabetha High School in 1958, enjoying all the school activities.

Sally married Rodney Miller on Sept. 11, 1960 and they had two daughters, Stephanie and Pam. She worked most of her working years with Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a supervisor in the Medicare Department. She enjoyed decorating her home and tending to her summertime flowers.

She is survived by her sister, Betty (Wayne) Stoller, of Falls City; brother, Raymond “Pete” Ralston, of Pharr, TX; daughters, Stephanie (Erik) Olson, of Atkinson, and Pam Singleton, of Henderson, NV; two grandchildren, Jacob Olson, of Atkinson and Andrea (Logan) Phelps, of Cedar Rapids, IA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends Andrea Hall and Katie Howard.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Rod Miller.

Sager Funeral Home, of Atkinson, is in charge of arrangements.
