BAYLIE JO KARPINSKI

Baylie Jo Karpinski, 18, of rural Stella, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. She was born May 28, 1996 in Lincoln to Frank Daniel and Ginny (Tucker) Karpinski. 

She attended school at ESU#4 in Auburn, and formerly at NCECBVI (School for the Visually Handicapped) in Nebraska City. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, of rural Stella; siblings, Katie (Mike) Smithberg, of Plattsmouth; Amie Karpinski, of Stella, Christie Karpinski and significant other Chris Jones, of Plainfield, IL; Bud (Lacey) Karpinski, of Barada, Rachel Karpinski, of Syracuse, and Nate Foreman, of Lincoln; nieces and nephews, Mickey (Brandi) Karpinski and their children Kinley and Kamber, of Cedar Creek, NE, Kayla Smithberg and Adam Smithberg, both of Plattsmouth; Kinzie Michels, of Plainfield, IL; Wyett and Ty Karpinski, of Barada; uncles, Rick (Vickie) Tucker and son Sam, of Loves Parks, IL, David (Sandy) Tucker and children Krista, Kelsey and Alex, of Durand, IL; Clyde (Sandy) Tucker and and children Clyde, Jr., Greg and Tabitha, of Rockford, IL; special aunts and uncles, Ogie (Tom) Nelson and children Tausha (Tim) Pokorny and their sons Westen and Cruz; Crystal Shaffer and special friend Pat and son Ethen, Keenan and Caleb, of Lincoln; Alicia (Kyle) Schoenberger and sons, Tayton and Jase, of North Mankato, MN; nurses and caregivers, M.J. Driskell and Erin Beckman; special people, Trish Leifert and Mark Rublee; many cousins; other family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will take place from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Lewis and Clark Center at Nebraska City. The family requests that those attending wear a colored T-Shirt and jeans in honor of Baylie. 

Memorials may be given to the family. An account has been set up at the Carson National Bank in Auburn.
