Charles W. Carlson, 82, of Geneva, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Highland Oaks retirement community in Elgin, IL. He was born on July 30, 1932 in Falls City, the son of Carl and Elizabeth Carlson.
Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean War. He was retired from his jewelry and watchmaking business.
He is survived by his daughters, Molly (Christopher) Rider and Merry Carlson; and grandchildren, Samuel and Maxwell Rider, and Benjamin Carlson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Colleen Werner.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Geneva Lutheran Church. Memorials to be given to The Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org)
