LUCILE JANOVEC

Lucile Janovec, 98, of Gretna, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 at Omaha. She was born June 4, 1916 at Rulo to the late Russell and Alice (Steinhauser) Adams.

She was raised at Falls City and Rulo and attended Rulo High School.

Lucile married Harold Ogg in May 1931 at Hiawatha, KS, and they divorced in 1971. She married Lloyd Janovec in 1973 at Hiawatha. He passed away on Nov. 25, 1987. When married to Mr. Ogg, they lived in Rulo. They moved to Hiawatha in 1945 and she worked as a dispatcher for the Hiawatha Police Dept. When married to Mr. Janovec, the majority of time was spent traveling North America.

She was a member of BPO Does Drove #56 at Falls City.

Lucile is survived by her sons, Tommy (Phyllis) Ogg, of Gretna, Harold Ogg, Jr., of Marysville, KS, and Charles Ogg, of Lewisville, NE; daughter, Norene (Peter) Darveaux, of Independence, MO; brother, Roy Adams, of Lincoln; sisters, Nina Browning, of Omaha, Betty Olsen and Martha Bearce, both of Hiawatha, and Judy Miller, of Falls City; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; and two sisters.

Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, Falls City, with Pastor Stuart Pederson officiating. Interment in Steele Cemetery. The family will receive friends on from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
