Robert Jeffery Davis, 49, of Falls City, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln. He was born on Sept. 6, 1965 in Falls City, the son of Robert Lee and Frances (Portrey) Davis.
Rob was raised and attended school in Falls City; he graduated from the Job Corps program in Chadron.
Throughout his life he lived in Hiawatha, KS, Sabetha, KS, and South Dakota. Rob worked various construction jobs as a carpenter.
He moved back to Falls City, where has lived for the past several years. Due to a sudden stroke, Rob was taken to LGH West.
He is survived by three sons, Travis Davis, of Hiawatha, Randy Davis, of Oneida, KS, and Jesse (Karen) Davis, of Sabetha; his mother, Frances Davis, of Falls City; brothers, Joe (Sandy) Yocum, of Milford, and Kevin (Deborah) Hauck, of Fremont; sisters, Amy Yocum (Jim) Snyder, of Joplin, MO, Dawn Eckler Moorehead, of Rulo, and Nancy Davis Phroper, of Falls City; special friend, Christina Blanton and her son, Roy Tidwell, of Falls City; seven grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Following direct cremation, a gathering of family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at the Northridge Church in Falls City. No viewing or visitation is scheduled. Memorials may be given to the family in care of Hall Funeral Home of Falls City.
