Pauleen Fouraker, 86, of Louisville, (formerly of Salem), passed away Nov. 16, 2014 at Louisville. She was born Oct. 12, 1928 at Salem to the late Paul and Ileen (Claus) Babb.
On April 22, 1946 she married Donald Martinosky at Dawson and they were later divorced. She married Robert Fouraker on Sept. 24, 1962 at Falls City. He passed away Feb. 2, 2001.
Pauleen was raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1945. When married the couple established their home in Salem. She was a clerk at the Salem Post Office for 20 years, retiring in 1983. When married to Mr. Fouraker they made their home in Salem as well.
Pauleen is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Ray) Thomas, of Salem, Karen Sheldon, of David City, Janice (Marty) Ellner, of Hiawatha, KS; brothers, Jack Babb of Longmont, CO, and Bryan and Gerald Babb, both of Oregon, Donald Babb, of Colorado, Daniel Babb, of Hiawatha, KS; sister, Mary Montgomery, of Denison, KS; granddaughters, Lori (Brennan) Durand, of Nebraska City, Kerri (Dennis) Simms, of Plattsmouth; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three brothers.
Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Boatright officiating. Interment will be in Maple Cemetery at Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
