Dorothy M. (Lang) Catlett, 87, of Bakers City, OR, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. She was born in Pawnee City on Jan. 20, 1926 to Joe and Blanche (Dobrovolny) Lang.
She married Ansel Adair on Nov. 13, 1945.
On June 1, 1959, she married Clifford D. Catlett and the couple made their home in Pilot Rock, OR. Dorothy was a homemaker and mail carrier for more than 19 years, with a 75-mile route near Pilot Rock.
She is survived by sister, Joan Strecker, of Falls City; two grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas; husband, Clifford; sister, Arlene Sowatzke; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Jan. 8 at the Pilot Rock Cemetery.
