Debra Lynn Lear, 54, of White Cloud, KS, passed away Nov. 12, 2013 at her home. She was born March 23, 1959 at Falls City to the late William and Betty (Riddle) Hayes.
On Sept. 25, 1978 she married Rex Rudder at Reserve, KS, and they were later divorced. She married John Lear on June 21, 2004 at Robinson, KS.
Debra was raised in Falls City and attended Falls City High School. She was currently a student at Peru State College, studying Criminal Justice and Psychology. She was involved with her grandchildren.
Debra is survived by her husband, John, of White Cloud; sons, Rex (Rose Michele) Rudder, Jr., of Humboldt, Aaron (Ariane) Rudder, of Salem, Jeremy Rudder, of Peru; step-children, Andy and Caleb Lear, both of Hiawatha, Tessa (Scott) Harlan, of Kansas City, MO; brothers, Leroy, Paul and Larry Hayes, all of Falls City; sisters, Helen Mandery and Linda Waggoner, both of Falls City, Vicky Lowe, of Rulo; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Kristy Lowe.
A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Waters officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
