The Falls City Aquatic Center Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlon will both be held Saturday, July 27, at the aquatic center.
The sprint triathlon will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the kids’ race at approximately 10.
The sprint triathlon is open to individuals 15 years of age and older. They can compete as individual ($40 entry) or as a team of three ($100), with a price increase for registration after July 23. Entrants will compete in a 300-meter swim, 15K bike and a 5K run. Race-day registration and transition area opens at 6 a.m.
Race packet pick-up will be available from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the FCAC. Race day registration will be accepted until 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Event T-shirts will not be available to participants registering on race day.
Trophies will be awarded for overall male and female winners and medals to the top three individual and team finishers in each age division.
The kids tri is open to those 9-14. They can compete as individual ($30) or as a team of three ($75), with a price increase after July 22. Entrants will swim 150 meters, bike two miles and run one mile.
T-Chip timing devices will be used.
