Magician, Illusionist Reza returns to Falls City March 16

Magician and illusionist Reza will make a tour stop at Falls City’s Prichard Auditorium at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Tickets are currently on sale at the Falls City Chamber of Commerce/Main Street Office (1705 Stone St.; 402-245-4228 or 402-245-5899). This will be Reza’s second appearance in Falls City, as he performed at Prichard Auditorium in July 2010. The 26-year-old Brookings, S.D., native is hailed as one of the top illusionists in the country, along the lines of David Blaine and Criss Angel. He has appeared nearly everywhere in the United States, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and New York City. He recently appeared on MTV with pop band Never Shout Never. In December 2011, Reza was the opening act for Huey Lewis and the News at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

His professional career started at the age of 15 with a six-week run in Branson, Mo., playing 18 shows per week.

Reza’s current self-titled tour transports 15,000 pounds of lighting and sound. A few of Reza’s signature “stunts” include the split-second appearance of a revving motorcycle, passing himself though 300 pounds of diamond plate steel, vanishing a beautiful assistant at the tip of razor sharp spikes, and the one-in-a-billion prediction made a year in advance about the thoughts of randomly selected audience members.

Advance tickets are $5 for students 12 and under; and $10 for adults. At the door, tickets are $12 for students, $15 for adults.
