Mary Patricia Sheehan died on October 7,2021 following a brief illness. She was born on March 17, 1938, in Salem, Nebraska the daughter of Frank and Helen (Babb) Sheehan. She was known as Pat to all her friends and family.
She grew up on a farm east of Verdon and attend District 77 grade school. In 1965 she graduated from Verdon High School. She went on to Peru State College where she entered into teaching profession. She taught a few years at District 79 before moving to Tekamah, NE where she taught first and second grade. In 1965 she moved to Elko, Nevada. Where she taught for 33 years until her retirement in 1999.
She is survived by a sister Caroline McKay and nine nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers Michael and Richard Sheehan and three nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring around St. Patrick’s Day March 17, 2022, In Elko, NV.
