Dusty Slay coming back to Falls City!

Comedian Dusty Slay will perform on Saturday, June 12 at the Sacred Heart practice Field, behind the school at 1820 Fulton Street in Falls City. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. There will be a full bar for purchase and pulled pork sandwiches and chips for $10. There will be no outside food or drink allowed inside. Slay’s comedy is rated PG-13.
He made history as the youngest comedian to perform at the Grand Ole Opry when he was 36.
Slay also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live. He last appeared in Falls City in November of 2019 at Prichard Auditorium.
In 2018 Slay had a breakout year winning the coveted Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. The very next day he was in demanding booking gigs on late night shows. In 2019 Variety magazine named him one of its “Top 10 comedians to watch.”
During his performances, Slay often uses the catchphrase “We’re having a good time” to get his audience’s attention. “I like to tell people we’re having a good time. I don’t like to ask,” Slay said in an 2019 interview with popculture.com. So get ready for a good time this weekend.
Ticket prices are $40 for General Admission. Contact Sacred Heart School, Rene Kopf or Jackie Knobbe.
Continuing the Shamrock Summer Comedy Series, Comedian Karen Morgan will be performing on Friday July 9, 2021. Dinner will be available with local music at 6:00 and Morgan’s comedy at 9:00.
A former trial attorney, Karen Morgan was discovered after she became a Finalist on Nickelodeon Television’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Since then, she has performed in comedy clubs and theaters across the country.
