Paul Sells

Paul Sells, 73, of Falls City, passed away June 18, 2020, in Falls City. He was born November 26, 1946, at Falls City to Clifford and Ruth (Majerus) Sells.
He married Sharon Huppert on April 25, 1968, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
He was called to active duty on May 13, 1968, and he was honorably discharged from active duty on August 20, 1969, and served with the Kansas National Guard the remainder of his obligation.
Paul was raised in Brown County Kansas and graduated Reserve High School in 1964. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Kansas National Guard. His unit was activated to active duty in March of 1968 and returned in 1969. Following his service, he farmed with his father, then worked at the Rulo COOP and then took employment with the City of Falls City as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Falls City Honor Guard and American Legion Post 102.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sharon of Falls City, daughters, Kelli Maas and her husband Don of Omaha, NE, Kerri Egner and her husband Rick of Lincoln, NE, son, Anthony and his wife Tracey of Lincoln, brother, Jack and his wife Frances of Rulo, sisters, Shirley Gormley and her husband Joe of Hiawatha, KS, Margaret Sutherland and her husband Archie of Troy, KS, grandchildren, Ethan Maas, Connor and Sydney Sells. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Edward, Jr. and Delmond Huppert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Stoley officiating. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

Parish Rosary to be recited on Sunday at 5:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
