Earl Emil Solt, 84, of Corning, Kansas passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Life Care Center in Seneca.
Earl was born in Falls City, Nebraska on November 27, 1933 the son of Floyd and Sadie (Deuchler) Solt.
Earl was a farmer, fisherman, active community member, Nebraska Cornhusker fan, a husband and a dad. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In his later years, he enjoyed taking cruises and traveling the U.S. He was very proud of his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Corning, KS; sons, Ron (Kay) Solt of Concordia, KS, Doug (Bobbi) Solt of Beloit, KS, and Larry Solt of Topeka, KS; a daughter, Amy Barber of Wichita, KS; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Popkess Memorial Chapel in Seneca, Kansas. Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be made at the Steele Cemetery in Falls City, Nebraska.
