    There’s no place like home. JR and Lisa Ramer know that feeling well. After being away from Falls City and his home for nearly four months JR last Wednesday returned by motorcycle escort home to Falls City after fighting his greatest battle — the battle to survive.
    In 2007 Gene “JR” Ramer was diagnosed with cardio myopathy, which is heart failure that causes the heart to beat very fast.  Ramer had to start driving to Creighton Medical Center in Omaha to receive care. He received a pacemaker and defibrillator that did well for a few years. The doctors soon noticed that his health was declining, so they referred him to Nebraska Medical Center in October 2012.

A new page will open and please fill out the necessary information in the ‘User Registration’ form below the heading, ‘New User Account With Membership Subscription.’ After you have completed the form, click ‘Register’ and you will be redirected to the Journal’s PayPal account where you can pay for your subscription. After payment is made you will be taken back to the home page where you can use your log-in name and password to begin using your subscription.
