A Saturday night single-car accident that sent two injured juveniles to the hospital remains under investigation, Falls City Police Chief Duane Armbruster said Monday.
FCPD and members of the Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Squad responded to an accident on Industrial Road at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. A white 2004 Ford F250 pickup, registered to Tracy Doerr, of Verdon, and driven by her son, Justin, 17, a Falls City High School senior, reportedly left the roadside, entered a creek bed and slammed into the side of a hill. The vehicle was totaled, according to the accident report filed by the FCPD.
Justin Doerr was taken to Community Medical Center in Falls City for treatment of undisclosed injuries. An unnamed juvenile passenger in the Doerr vehicle was taken to a St. Joseph, MO, hospital for treatment of injuries, the nature or extent of which were also undisclosed.
