Carolyn Sue Druba (Jensby)

Carolyn Sue Druba (Jensby), age 73, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 8, 2026. A faithful Christian, Carolyn lived a life defined by love, service, and unwavering devotion to her family, her church, and her faith.

She was born in Hardy, Nebraska, on November 10, 1952 to Robert and Dorothy (Beck) Jensby. She graduated from Hardy High School in 1971 and later graduated from Kansas State University. On June 27, 1980, she married the love of her life, Roger Druba, in Superior, Nebraska. Together, they built a life in Geneva, centered on faith and family. In 1992, they moved their family to Falls City, the community they embraced as home.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, a loving and selfless mother to Craig Barrett (Pauqi), Jeff Druba (Lindsay), and Brett Druba (Elizabeth), and a cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and proud great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she supported each of them with constant love, prayer, and encouragement.

A talented and caring beautician, Carolyn worked from her home, building lasting relationships with clients and becoming friends with all those she met. She retired in 2020 due to declining health. In addition to her work, she was a dedicated homemaker who created a home filled with warmth, hospitality, and faith.

Carolyn was a faithful member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she generously volunteered her time and talents. She especially enjoyed landscaping and caring for the church grounds, finding peace in nurturing beauty and giving back to her faith community.

Carolyn’s absolute greatest joy in life was time spent with her grandchildren. She faithfully attended their school field trips, inviting them to Falls City for weeks at a time during the summer, with trips to the zoo, the swimming pool, and many ice cream trips to Sonic, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and simple happiness that will be treasured forever.

Carolyn’s faith was lived quietly but powerfully. She was strong without seeking recognition, loving without conditions, and generous with her time, her prayers, and her heart. Though she was taken from us too soon, her legacy lives on through the family she raised, the faith she modeled, and the many lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved until we meet again.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Roger of Falls City, sons, Craig Barrett of San Antonio, TX, Jeff and his wife Lindsay and Brett and his wife Elizabeth both of Roca, NE, brothers, Morris Jensby and his wife Mary Jane of Arizona, Kent Jensby and his wife Crystal of Superior, sister, Lori Linder and her husband Mitch of Lincoln, NE, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Dorothy (Beck) Jensby, and her sister Beth Greenstreet, whom she now joyfully joins in eternal peace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Father Jim Meysenburg officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, NE on Friday at 2:00 PM.

A Parish Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the rosary.
