Katherine Ann Usher, of Wilson, Kansas, passed away on May 18, 2023, at her home at Wilson Lake, at the age of 60. She was born on May 14, 1963, to Charles and Norma (Spurgin) Windle in Falls City, Nebraska. She was married on August 7, 2008, to Rex Usher in Dalhart, Texas.
She owned and operated Hell Creek Cabins at Wilson Lake. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Rex Usher, of the home; daughters, Jenny (David) Helmick of Salem, NE, Melody Usher, Holyrood, KS; sons, Justin (Kristy) Martin of Holyrood, KS, John (Felicia) Martin, Salem, NE, Matt Usher, Holyrood, KS; mother, Norma Alford, Fayetteville, AR; sisters, Charlotte (Kenny) Bower, Dieterich, IL, Laura (Bobby) Kildow, Fayetteville, AR; brother Pat Windle, Beaver, OR; father-in-law, Gary Usher, Dalhart, TX; mother-in-law, Sherryn Rist, Humbolt, NE; grandchildren, Dalton and Derek Helmick, Karlee and Gracie Haupt, Victoria Reyna and Chandler Martin, Addy and Auroara Martin, Matt and Pat Usher, Ronnie Rogers; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Martin, granddaughter, Brynn Martin, fathers Charles (Gene) Windle and James (Pops) Alford, sister, Pamela Windle and brother, Steven Windle.
Funeral service will be held Monday, May 22, 2023, at 10 AM, at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Wilson. Burial will follow at Wilson City Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service at 9 AM, at the funeral home in Wilson.
