With his loving wife Janice, Jim passed away after a seven-month medical battle. Jim was born on November 7, 1939. He was a graduate of the public schools of Richardson County and of Sheet Metal Workers Local 273 in Santa Barbara, California. At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined the Alamar Foursquare Church where he was a dedicated member. At Alamar, he served faithfully in choir and the Church.
Jim was united in holy matrimony to Janice Kay Wickham, in January of 1960. This union was blessed with three children, Renee, Tim and Stephine. Mr. Wickham was an active member of the Foursquare Church, becoming a licensed evangelist who traveled the United States and overseas conducting various campaigns. His Christian life was filled with compassion and care for sick and affected people who needed prayer. He quietly departed this life Friday, April 4, 2025, at Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Falls City, NE.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice and his three children: Renee Dohy, Tim Wickham and Stephine Cunningham. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 8 at Maple Cemetery, Salem, NE at 11:00 a.m. A dinner and celebration of life will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Good News Assembly of God Church 601 Reavis St Falls City, NE.
