Ronald Dale Bauer, 83, of Lincoln, passed away on June 27, 2024. He was born on December 11, 1940 in Falls City, Nebraska to Dale and Marjorie (Prater) Bauer. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, retired as a technician for Xerox, and was an Air Force and Air National Guard Veteran.
Ron married his High School sweetheart, Sondra Oberst, on July 10, 1960 in Falls City. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was a loyal and supportive husband and father. His faith in Jesus was evident to every person who knew and met him.
Survivors include spouse Sondra; children Michael (Therese) Bauer and Kimberly Bauer; grandchildren Derek (Virginia) Bauer and Michaela Bauer; great granddaughter Hazel Bauer; siblings Dale Bauer, Jr. and Sue Moran; sisters-in-law Cheryl Vossen and Mid Bauer; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother Gary Bauer; sister Sharon Walgreen; brothers-in-law Bill Vossen and Bob Walgreen; parents-in-law Virgil and Wilma Oberst.
Memorial Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 3rd at 2:00 p.m. A burial will be held Saturday, July 6th at 10:30 a.m. in Falls City at the Steele Cemetery.
