Stephan P. Barber, 79 of Falls City, NE passed away on October 3, 2023 in Omaha, NE
He was born on November 7, 1943 in Reserve, KS to Harry E. and Helen (Smith) Barber.
Stephan was raised in Reserve and graduated from Reserve High School in 1961 and enlisted in the U. S. Navy on June 9, 1961. He was honorably discharged on October 30, 1964 and served in the Naval Reserves until June 8, 1967. After his discharge he worked at the American Loan Company with Art Tauchen in Falls City and later transferred to Council Bluffs, IA. He later moved to Omaha, NE and worked for Kennedy Parsons Wholesalers and then became an underwriter for Mutual of Omaha. He then returned to Falls City and has lived here since.
Stephan is survived by brothers, Bob (Margie) Barber of Hurricane, UT, Jay (Nan) Barber of Sabetha, KS; sisters, Shirley Frederick of Falls City, Carlotta Hodge of Falls City and Judy (Hal) Ledford of Laughlin, NV
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jack and a sister, Carole Smith.
Stephan donated his body to the Nebraska Anatomical Board and no service will be held.
