James “Jim” Richard Inglis, 74, of Falls City, Nebraska passed away on November 9, 2020, in Lincoln, Nebraska from complications of Covid-19. He was born January 14, 1947, in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Donald and Ethelda (Smith) Inglis. Jim proudly served his country for 24 years in the US Army Reserves in Nebraska. He owned and operated Inglis Repair Inc in Falls City, Nebraska for many years. He loved to fish, hunt, play cards at the Legion Club and ride his motorcycle with Mark and Sharon Walker. Jim was larger than life and often said that people loved him or hated him, but they never forgot him.
Jim has been lovingly reunited with his late wife, Loni, in Heaven. They married in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 26, 1989 and Loni passed away March 19, 2017. They are once again eating Loni’s delicious cooking, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors together. Jim loved to reminisce about the things they’d done together.
Jim always said that you make your family and so he did. He is especially missed by loving granddaughter, Alicia (Reggie) Parnell and great-grandsons Bryson and Trenton. Son and daughter-in-law Mark and Sharon Walker and granddaughter, Helen. Best friend, Amy Taylor Spain, and grandchildren, Donovan and Phiala. He will continue to be missed by so many.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Falls City Catholic Cemetery with Father Lawrence Stoley officiating.
